I used to have a framed picture of Liz and Floyd in love in Cleveland, and you know what I did with it? I sent it to Mindy Kaling as a gesture of good luck with The Mindy Project. (x)
This is the picture of Liz and Floyd that Tina talked about! I love it. Going to put it in Shulman & Associates! (x)
Fred McFeely Rogers (March 20, 1928 – February 27, 2003)
Oh. Sobbing. Okay.
One of the best people humankind has created.
Reblog this. Fuck you if you don’t reblog this. Seriously. Remember this or reenact this, but make it happen again.
I grew up watching Mr. Rogers on a black and white Motorola tv. Yes, I go back that far. He was kind and warm and never, ever talked down to you. Ever.
I remember the night at the Emmys when they honored him. George Clooney was still on ER at the time, and when Mr. Rogers came out, George jumped up out of his chair and basically led a standing ovation.
Mr. Rogers message is even more important when you see it as an adult. Because adults forget to be kind and how important it is to show kindness, especially to the children in our lives.
I wish Mr. Rogers were MY neighbor.
